The University of Tourism and Management in Skopje within its Career Center, on March 26th 2013, has organized a meeting of the students of this university, with the representatives from the "Job Trust" HR consulting company from Thessaloniki, Greece.
The purpose of this meeting was the process of realization the interviews with students who are eligible for student practicum in different hotels all over Greece, with duration of three months.
Before the official interviews, Mrs. Andrea Balan, HR manager at this consulting company, has presented the program, the application process, conditions and methods, as well as the regions where the hotels for student’s practicum are located. At the same time, she explained the conditions for a certain positions, the duration of the practical training, the number of working days and hours, the rewards for successfully performed practicum, and sanctions if the contracts are not respected.
Mrs. Balan had individual interview with each student, with the questions related with the field of work for practical training in hotels, knowledge of foreign languages, work experience, and student’s affinities in certain positions.
The realization of the interviewing process is the practice within this consulting company from Greece. The summer practicum is an opportunity for the students from UTMS to gain practical knowledge, which would be a part of their further work responsibilities.
