Within the established practice for developing cooperation with institutions and organizations in the country, students from University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, accompanied by Dean of the Faculty of Economy Saso Kozhuharov PhD had the opportunity to visit the State Statistical Office. Their host was also a principal lecturer Dr Blagica Novkovska that the UTMS students were introduced to the core activities, harmonization and systems of operation of the statistical system of the country.

Lecture or thematic content of Dr Novkovska were divided in three parts , starting from the statistical system and statistical reporting, with particular emphasis on the role of the State Statistical Office, then the statistical business process model and the census of population, households and dwellings.

Students at the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje mutual joint coordination, in addition to the presentation, and had the rare opportunity to test their knowledge and the field of tourism, economy , geography and demographics of the on-line site of the Office or by Eurostat Statistical system of the European Union.
The meeting of the State Statistical Office of UTMS present students got their only link to the database of the Office. At the same time, on a visit to this important state institution, agreed and signed the cooperation agreement between the State Statistical Office and the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, with particular agreement for the internship students.
